Notes

Using your homemade scrub: In the shower or bath, apply a generous amount of the body scrub to your skin and gently massage a small amount in circular motions, then rinse with warm water. Sugar scrubs are great for exfoliating hands, feet, elbows, knees, arms and legs. But you do want to use care if you have sensitive skin. I always recommend doing a skin patch test if you are trying out a homemade bath product with ingredients you've never tried on your skin before.
Storing Homemade Sugar Scrub: While most fruit preserves contain sugar and acid which helps to keep the preserves from spoiling, for the best shelf life, you should keep this scrub in the fridge. In the fridge it will have the same shelf life as the preserves themselves.
If you choose not to store this in the fridge, place it in a cool dark place, such as a cabinet and  use it within a week or two, taking care to notice any changes in the smell or color.
