Notes

Ingredients Ratio

For this mint sugar scrub recipe, you can vary the sugar-to-coconut-oil ratio depending on your preference. I started with about 200g of sugar and added 70 g of coconut oil, but you can increase the sugar for a thicker consistency or add more coconut oil as necessary.
This DIY body scrub will leave your dry skin feeling silky, smooth, and fresh. The sugar and fresh/dried mint leaves in this recipe ensure the scrub exfoliates and moisturises as you rub it on your skin.
Tip: Increase the sugar and mint leaves ratio to coconut oil for more exfoliation.
Coconut oil provides incredible hydration for the skin. I recommend using refined coconut oil because it doesn’t smell like coconut, but that’s up to you.
I use fresh mint leaves, lime zests and essential oils to create that heavenly, fresh, minty scent. Fresh mint leaves are easy to find and affordable.
Another tip:  You can always run the fresh/dried mint leaves through a mini food processor. This allows 99% of the mine leaves to go down the drain easily.
