I tested this DIY castile soap face wash recipe half a dozen times to get the right lather and texture, and the following ingredients are key:
Coconut milk: It’s not just for pina Coladas—coconut milk is great for the skin and hair. Coconut milk has high levels of Vitamin C, which helps maintain the elasticity and flexibility of the skin. The fatty acids present in the milk will dissolve the stubborn makeup along with nourishing the skin.
Castile soap: is a gentle cleanser that helps to remove dirt, grime, and make-up without stripping the skin.
Coconut oil is one of the best natural sources of healthy fatty acids, antioxidants, and other phytochemicals (plant-based chemicals). Using coconut oil on the skin can help treat and prevent dry skin.
Vitamin E oil: Vitamin E is high in antioxidants, and it affects blood circulation. It can help soften skin and help protect your skin’s moisture barrier.
